MAXFrag is proud to be a member of the LAN Party Association of New England.

On March 20th 2004, 50 administrators from 13 LAN parties and 4 states gathered to launch the LAN Party Assosciation of New England. At the conference, the admins talked about topics such as LAN party scheduling conflicts, producing better events, sharing resources, and much more. Friendships were born. New ideas surfaced. At the end of the night, every admin drove home with a greater sense of collaboration and community. In addition to LPANE emerging as a symbol of a unified New England LAN Party scene, www.lpane.net has been designed to serve as the single best resource for the gamers of New England.

A research group at Stanford University has created a distributed computing program that uses your idle computer time to simulate the process of a protein folding. By studying this, they believe they might be able to find cures for many diseases including Alzheimer's disease. We have teamed up with the LAN Party Assosciation of New England, FOLDING@HOME Team

As you can see, we are already within the top 100 teams out of over 30,000 teams! We know that with your help, we can make it to the top 50. To download the Folding client, go to:
